We created the FAQ to answer the main questions. But if you have any other questions that are not in the form, please get in touch via WhatsApp or Instagram so that we can clarify and resolve your concerns.
When should I schedule my photography session?
We recommend booking the photo session at least 1 month before the booked date. We may occasionally be able to accommodate last minute requests depending on our availability, but we cannot guarantee this.
How do I reserve my photography date?
To book it is very simple, just contact us via WhatsApp informing the type of rehearsal (couple, family, surprise or individual proposal, wedding, etc.) and your available dates. When you get in touch, we will get back to you within 24 hours (during business days) informing availability for the requested dates! If there is availability, you book your rehearsal then, paying the deposit (30%). After confirmation of payment received, just prepare for the memories to come! Oh, and if you wish, we also send you more details on how to prepare for your shoot, such as suggestions on what to wear, makeup, etc.
Can I extend the rehearsal time?
If there is availability, definitely! Rehearsals are always fun and we totally understand if you want the time to be longer! We offer an additional hour for £150. The number of photos varies according to the type of location chosen, as there is the possibility of time spent on transport if you choose to change region for the photos.
Can I reschedule my rehearsal?
Yes! If you need to reschedule your rehearsal, you can contact us up to 72h before your rehearsal, and if there is availability to both, you will not be charged a fee to reschedule.
What if I'm late for the session?
Leave as early as possible, as we know that there may be unforeseen events such as traffic or getting lost. A five-minute delay is tolerable, after which it will be deducted from the scheduled time. Ex: If the scheduled time is from 10:00 to 11:00 and you arrive at 10:10, we will photograph for the remaining 50 minutes.
What if I'm late and don't get in touch?
We can wait for up to 30 minutes, after this period we will understand that the rehearsal has been canceled and we will leave. The deposit paid is not returnable. It is extremely important that you contact us on the day of the rehearsal to let us know that everything is ok and it is on its way.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
By default, photo delivery takes 5 to 7 business days. But you can pay for fast delivery, and we will do it within a maximum of 48 working hours.
How will I receive my photos?
The selected and edited photos will be made available for download within our platform on our website. We can also transfer photos directly to your memory card or flash drive.
How are the photos chosen?
After the event, you will receive a login and password to access our platform on our website. There you will choose the photos that will be processed and edited. Note: you will receive your login and password within 48 hours after the event.
How does photo editing work?
In post-production we work with two professional programs: Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop!
Each photo takes its own processing time, all so that the shot is perfect, beautiful and very natural!
In Lightroom we work with light and color adjustments, and in Photoshop we make all the skin and environment corrections, but we don't edit parts of the body as a whole. You will see details in your photos that you have never seen before! We're sure you'll love it!
Can we deliver the files without processing (editing)?
Our work doesn't end when your rehearsal or event ends! In fact, one of the most important parts is the selection and processing of images. It's the icing on the cake! But we can also deliver non-selectable photos, as long as we agree on the situation and values beforehand.
I liked more photos, and the number of selectable photos hired has already been reached. Can I choose more?
Yes definitely. And to be honest, this happens almost all the time. We will check and payment will be made separately.
What happens if I don't download the photos within the stipulated time?
Your photo album will be available for download on the panel on our website for 30 days, be sure to download them within this period. But for safekeeping we keep the entire project on our computer for 60 days, but if you forget or something similar we will apply a fee to resend the photos.
About the weather.
As we know, the weather in the UK is quite unpredictable. Even if the forecast suggests rain, we cannot be 100% sure until the day itself.
However, even if it rains, a photo shoot in the rain can be very pleasant and romantic, especially with a beautiful transparent umbrella that we can provide. We can even wait a bit, as the rain here is usually intermittent.
If you prefer, we can reschedule the photo session for another day based on both availability. The most important thing is to guarantee a wonderful and comfortable experience.
Be careful with your belongings!
For minimal distraction, leave all your valuable belongings at your home/hotel. Try to be light so you can move from one place to another easily and without worrying about the safety of your belongings.
Some tourist locations, especially in London, are not so safe. Don't let anything spoil your mood and good memories.
Will you use my images for publicity?
PhotoREC Duo, like all photography/video companies, lives and grows due to the quality of service and dissemination in the form of images captured by us. If for any reason you do not wish to have your photos on our website or Instagram, please let us know in advance when booking your shoot.
Recommendations for clothing and accessories for a photo shoot.
We recommend that it is comfortable and that you feel good, taking into account your personality and the harmony of colors.
